Dr. Vicky Charalambous

Dr. Vicky Charalambous is a strategic HR and organisational development expert specialising in workplace wellbeing, positive psychology, and sustainable performance. Her work focuses on how organisations can design healthier systems, cultures, and leadership practices that support both people and performance. She holds a PhD in Positive Organizational Psychology, a Master’s in Organizational and Economic Psychology, and a Bachelor’s in International and European Economic Studies. With extensive experience in leadership development and organisational transformation, she has designed and delivered HR and leadership programmes on topics including workplace mental health, inclusive cultures, psychological safety, ESG, and responsible AI in HR. Her approach combines evidence-based insights with practical application, supporting organisations in moving from standalone wellbeing initiatives to systemic, culture-driven change. She is a certified HRDA trainer and holds international certifications as Chief Happiness Officer and Chief Wellbeing Officer. She serves as a Board Member of the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association and as Cyprus’ representative at the European Association for People Management. At CARDET, she leads people, culture, and organisational performance, both internally and across European projects supporting organisations, educators, and communities across Europe in strengthening equity, inclusion, and sustainable workplace practices. She is also the Managing Director of the Institute of Development, an organisation focused on positive psychology, mental health, and workplace wellbeing, supporting individuals and organisations in building healthier, more resilient environments.
